About Me

Hi, I'm Katherine -- a desert-loving, craft-obsessed maker based in beautiful Sierra Vista, Arizona.

My love for creating started with baking. For over a decade, I made cakes and cupcakes for all kinds of celebrations—until life (and a set of twins!) shifted my time and priorities. In 2019, I discovered the Glowforge, and that spark led me into the world of laser cutting and engraving.

Since then, my creative hobbies have grown into a full-on passion project. From baked goods, to freeze dried snacks, to beautifully personalized gifts -- I truly love all things crafty. If I can make it and bring a smile to someone’s face, I’m all in.

From Cupcakes to Farm Animals

In 2020, we made a big move—literally. We bought a new home with land in a quieter, more rural spot, with AMAZING views.

Since then, we took in rescue horses, a pregnant barn cat, adopted a couple of dogs, added goats, and brought home a donkey (just because she was too cute to resist). Naturally, a chicken coop followed shortly after.

Animal rescue has a special place in my heart. While I can't take them all in (though trust me, I’d try), I proudly support several local rescues doing the important work of giving animals a second chance.

Meet Rainey - Our Pasture Princess

Every farm needs a little royalty, right?

Meet Rainey, our beloved donkey and official Pasture Princess. Someone offered her to me because she was in need of a new home, and honestly… how could I possibly say no to that face (or those ears)?

Rainey quickly settled in like she owned the place (she kind of does), and has been ruling her little kingdom ever since—braying for food and attention, supervising the goats, and generally being the most charming part of the pasture.

She may have been a surprise addition, but she’s become one of the most loved animals on our farm.

The Craft House

In 2024, my biggest crafting dream came true—we built my very own craft house!

I’ve always loved working with different materials and techniques, so creating a dedicated space where all my crafts could come together was the perfect next step (plus, my husband was thrilled to reclaim all of that space in the house).

This studio is now my creative haven. I’m constantly learning new craft mediums and exploring different tools and machines to help bring people’s ideas to life. Whether it’s a sweet treat, custom gift, a personalized product, or a totally one-of-a-kind project—I love turning creativity into something real and meaningful.
